Winemaker Notes
The 2004 Columbia Valley growing season produced another stellar vintage resulting in wines with generous, fresh fruit character and well balanced natural acidity. The ripe, balanced wines that mark the vintage are due in large measure to ideal weather conditions throughout a long growing season that started early and stretched late into fall which added "hang time" to enhance flavor development.
This dark, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon is packed with cassis, blackberry liqueur, dark cocoa and warm vanilla notes in the nose. It lingers across the palate, imparting a long, polished finish that was developed in part from aging in new French oak barrels.
