winemaker's notes:
Extremely concentrated aromas featuring candied fruits - lychee, melon and guava, enhanced with notes of raisin and vanilla. This wine bursts on your palate showcasing ripe exotic fruits followed by a coasting of tangerine and stone fruits. A long and lingering experience.

This wine is a gem. I've been enjoying German dessert wines for years and this one has some of the same characteristics. The wine is balanced. The sweetness is balanced perfectly by the right amount of acidity. We serve it after dinner on special occasions and everyone loves it. I was hesitant to try any ice wines outside of Germany, and really don't like Californian dessert wines because they lack balance and subtlety. However, buying this Canadian ice wine was a risk worth taking.

I am 25 years old and I am not a drinker at all. I tasted this wine for the first time this past weekend (11-11-06) and I absolutely fell in love with it. It was sweet, fruity, rich and oh so delicious.

The first taste was on Valentine's Day. You only need to serve a little, because it's so intense and enjoyable. We loved it with dessert. It's very sweet and you can feel the after affects.
