Today, the family's original vision is celebrated in Genesis wines, which are crafted with the highest quality fruit from acclaimed vineyards throughout Columbia Valley.
Washington Syrah exhibits dark, juicy fruit character, brilliant color, a complex varietal gaminess and a relatively low tannin level. Our 2007 vintage displays intriguing aromas of blackberry, fig, cranberry and apricot, with cinnamon, hazelnut and a bit of white pepper. On the palate this rich, finely balanced wine offers bright black cherry and a note of cinnamon spice. Pair with wild mushroom risotto or grilled pork chops with caramelized onions and apple chutney.
