Winemaker's Notes

The 2005 vintage is a prime example of the outstanding quality of Washington Cabernet. The wine opens with bright aromas of raspberry, rhubarb, and cherry. It is ripe and fruity on the palate with a touch of clove, cinnamon, and lavender. A complex wine, it has a saffron character in the firm tannins, truffle and earth notes, and a long, dense, cocoa finish. Match this Cabernet with hearty entrees such as pepper steak, beef stew, or lasagna.

Smooth and slightly smokey cab with a medium body. I have shared this wine with freinds who have purchased it.

We took 6 bottles of wine for our "up north" fishing trip and by FAR this was the best. The others we took included several higher priced wines, but this wine was our favorite.
