Our 2007 Alexander Valley Cabernet is the color of purple plum leaf and blackberries. The nose is of fresh cherry juice, crushed mint, tobacconist's bench, boiling cocoa, molasses and fresh cut oak. On the palate the texture is of granite dust, warm clay and bacon fat. Flavors are reminiscent of black licorice, Roasted pecans, vanilla bean and cherry currant.
