This deep ruby Syrah combines strength and grace, opening with aromas of raspberry, black cherry and pepper. Lush and seductive, its concentrated fruit flavors are complemented by nuances of dark chocolate, espresso, spice, butter and oak. Sturdy yet refined tannins and a velvety mouthfeel lead to an elegant finish.

This wine pairs perfectly with charred meats and hearty stews. Try it with barbecued spareribs, lamb skewers, or a bacon and blue cheese burger served with sweet potato fries.

This Syrah is dark, rich & ripe. I detected deep black fruit and chocolate on the nose; Cherries, blackberries, plum jam and almost a sweet, smoky oak...delicious on the palate. It's dry and not overly tannic. Has a pretty decent, medium finish. Not anywhere near as good as the Fess Parker Rodney's Vineyard Syrah, but, overall, a decent Syrah.

We ordered a couple of random bottles of wine to be delivered to our hotel. Wine.com delivered on time. When I opened this bottle of wine the aroma was wonderful. The wine is very dark and inky, almost black. It has a lot of fruit at the start. Then some nice peppery spice and fruit on the finish with soft tannins. A very nice surprise I would agree with the 92 rating. Ordered more today.
