white wine style:
Light & Crisp Fruity & Smooth Rich & Creamy
winemaker's notes:

Following the classic style that Mike Grgich established when we began in 1977, we did not allow the Chardonnay to undergo malolactic fermentation and our Biodynamic farming created a wine that is alive with delicious acidity. This aromatic Chardonnay is rich with aromas of ripe peach, mango and tropical flowers, plus a note of minerality. Showcase this wine's elegance with fresh seafood, roasted chicken, grilled pork, or creamy cheeses.

alcohol by volume: 14.3%
critical acclaim:

"Pale yellow. Musky stone fruits, nutmeg and honey on the nose, plus a whiff of toasty, vanillin oak. Dense, tactile and juicy, conveying very good intensity without weight. Supple and ripe in the middle. The rising finish features fresh acidity and sneaky length."

rating (7/26/2011):

Sparkling gold color; Citrus and vanilla on the nose; Clementine oranges, honeydew, mango & tropical fruit on the palate; Great balance of crisp acidity and sweetness, with a creamy mouthfeel; Tropical fruit with well integrated oak, but not too oaky; Long, lingering finish. I Highly recommend it.
