Golden yellow color. Aromas of golden apple and succulent melon. Apple and chalky, mineral flavors round a juicy texture rich with vanilla and caramel apple character.

"Suprisingly rich and complex for the price. Shows pineapple, pear and oaky vanilla flavors that are deep and long, and balanced with crisp acidity. Very drinkable and a great value.

Not very fruity. Bitter metalic taste. Not a great wine, but not bad either. Probably will not reorder.
rating (3/11/2011):
Tasted this against Columbia Crest H3 chardonnay. Greystone has less fruit and more mineral scent. The taste is dryer with a citrus mineral finish. The Chardonnay butter is not as overwhelming. Of the four tasters, we split 2 and 2. Nice bottle of wine for $9

I just purchased a case. Great for a party. This is a simple chardonnay for everyday drinking. The wine has subtle fruitiness and a hint of oak.

Touch of oak and smooth with low butter flavors. Benefits from food.

A little sweeter than expected

rating (1/11/2011):
If you are hosting a party where you'll serve plenty of Chardonnay, this wine will serve you well. The delicate taste pairs well with many foods, and no one will be disappointed in your wine. Delicate citrusy notes, worth drinking for everyday. Not a wine for special celebrations, but a nice wine for the ordinary day.
