Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Pale, bright green with straw-coloured reflections. The nose is an aromatic burst, like a walk in the spring, reminiscent of the coolness of fresh air, a bouquet of white flowers (roses, jasmine, etc.), fennel, apricots and forest... all wrapped in a sweet atmosphere full of freshness, with a subtle mineral glow and an enveloping evocation of infusions and a citric breeze. The taste surrounds you with a sweet atmosphere, freshness, mild and also flexible feel. Long, unctuous aftertaste with the evocation of white flowers and citric peels.

Blend: 40% Muscat of Frontignan, 25% Muscat of Alexandria, 30% Sauvignon Blanc, 5% Gewürztraminer

Critical Acclaim

"Pale, green-tinged straw. Pungent, complex aromas of pit fruits, orange zest, white flowers and honey. Expansive and pliant in texture, offering silky peach and citrus fruit flavors complicated by a hint of floral honey. Gains sweetness with air but maintains energy, finishing with gentle grip and lingering florality. "
