Winemaker's Notes

Our 2007 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a complex and elegant wine that balances fruit and savory flavors. Elements of plum, black cherry and currant combine with hints of leather and cedar. Well-integrated tannins create a bold, yet silky wine with a long finish. This wine was aged for 22 months in 32% French oak and 68% American oak barrels.

Critical Acclaim

"Supple, ripe and inviting, featuring licorice and pepper overtones to the dark berries at the core, finishing with tight structure and an expressive range of flavors. Best from 2011 through 2015. 900 cases made. "

Solid WA Cab with tradiational flavors of dark fruits, pencil lead, cassis, and oak. Everything seems to be in proper balance, short finish. May improve over the next year in the bottle.
