#78 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2009

Produced exclusively with hand-picked grapes, this Cuvée was put on the American market for the first time in 1985. It is prepared according to the traditional method. Its bouquet with pear aroma distinguishes it from other sparkling wines and the fruity aroma lends it an initial effervescence which culminates in a lingering, creamy effect.

85% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay.

This one is our easy first choice among the everyday Bruts this year."

I would buy this wine again
Love this sparkler! Just perfect. Visited the Gloria Ferrer in 1998 after a conference in San Francisco and have been buying it ever since. Great for entertaining, celebrations and making great first impressions.

I love this sparkler! I served it at a Christmas party a few years ago and have been drinking it ever since! It is becoming more pricey, so buy it while it is still a value!
