Winemaker's Notes

The 2007 Russian River Chardonnay was aged sur lie, with frequent stirring of the lees, helping soften the palate and add complexity. It offers a wonderful brightness, clarity and light body. The aroma and flavor profiles include pear, Meyer lemon, plantains and lovely smoky clover-honey notes.

This wine can be served as a refreshing aperitif, and the crisp acidity also makes it a great match for white fish, white meat and fresh green salads.

"Pear and chamomile flavors fill out the buttercream richness of this Chardonnay. Oak lends a hint of tannin, giving it a light grip for grilled prawns." 89 Points
