Geyser Peak's distinct interpretation of this popular varietal takes its inspiration equally from the subtle floral flair of Alsatian Pinot Gris and the fruity, appealingly drinkable mode of Italy's Alto Adige Pinot Grigio creating a fusion of style that makes it classically Californian.
The wine is clear straw in color with slight golden refl ections. Aromas of green apple and tangerine combine with floral notes of white blossoms and a hint of spice. The palate shows melon, honey and more citrus flavors with a firm acidity and a trace of an exotic pepper/arugula note. The lively palate and crisp finish make it a great warm weather sipping wine or a partner to fresh cracked crab, oysters, grilled chicken, or salads.
