The cool weather in 2011 combined with an extended growing season to produce wines with intensity, vibrant color and enticing floral aromatics. This wine exudes complex aromas of sour cherry compote, candied ginger, cedar, tangerine zest, black pepper and sweet cherry wood followed by an intriguing flavor profile of wild berry preserves, hibiscus, pomegranate liquor and plum chutney. Incredibly balanced and nicely nuanced, the finish offers velvety tannins and bright, crisp acidity.
I love everything about this Pinot Noir. Simply delicious, this Pinot came out ahead of a slew of others in a tasting session. I highly recommend for any dinner party, gathering, daily sipper, or gift option.
