The 2007 Russian River Chardonnay has bright aromas of lemon custard, butterscotch and hints of nutmeg, followed by additional notes of baked apple, hazelnut, vanilla cream and tropical fruits. Although youthful and enticing, this wine will benefit from some additional time in the bottle. The wine's medium plus body and acidity will lend itself to many seafood dishes as well as aged Gouda cheeses.
Rich & Creamy
I'm not a big white wine drinker, but this Chardonnay really made an impression. Yellow/Green Color; Ripe apple, pear, pineapple, bitter lime on the nose. Nice balance between the crisp acidity and a fair amount of creamy oak. Not too overwhelmingly buttery, which was nice. Opened up beautifully after about an hour. Acidic/Medium Finish. A Superior Chardonnay. Would recommend it.
pretty good as I recall
