This Garnacha is not really what I would consider typical of the grape. The color was a bit darker, the heat was a bit more prominent and the white pepper was zesty on the black cherry yum. It was in fact very much like a Zinfandel rather than the more Summery spice and jam I look for in a Grenache. But I'm a big fan of Zin as well, so I was loving this wine. And the price point can't be beaten. Well worth the taste but let it air out a bit in your glass first.
