winemaker's notes:
This Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits a dense, riper fruit style that reflects the vintage. Aged in American oak to balance all of that fruit with a kind of a rugged spiciness. It's a stand-out rich, big, creamy, and intense Cab.
The grape clusters we de-stemmed but not crushed, to increase the percentage of whole berries sent to vertical and rotary fermenters. This allows us to better retain the grapes varietal essence and reduce the potential for bitter tannin extraction in the wine.
Once dry, the wine was transferred to small American oak barrels for over 23 months of aging. This wine completed Malolactic Fermentation and, to enhance bouquet, flavor, and body was not fined and only minimally filtered prior to bottling.

This wine is great with it's flavor and aroma. It has a full body taste, you can almost chew it. My wife and I love to share this wine together, as well as with friends of ours. I've got plenty in my cellar to enjoy for along time.

I have had a hard time warming up to Cabernet Sauvignon, but this wine has changed all of that! I drink only one glass a day for health and there is so many wines to try. I actually look forward to coming home from work with the Barrelli Creek waiting for me. Very dark and complex. Wonderful even by itself.

A thoroughbred right out of the gate - an initial taste and you won't believe that you paid less than $40 for this one. Remember to run this one through the filter - you'll want to savor every last drop!
