The 2008 Sofia Rosé displays a bright pink hue and an enticing perfume of crushed raspberries, rose petals, and tea leaves. Bright and refreshing on the palate, this wine offers delicate flavors of strawberries, red cherries, ginger, and candied orange peel.

Serve it chilled, just below room temperature.

I am a big cab person but this really hit the spot on Memorial Day weekend. I went out and bought a case! Perfect with fish or just hanging out on a hot evening. Nice strawberry, raspberry and tea rose nose. Beautifully presented. Do not serve cold or you will miss all the wonderful aromas. Let it warm up just a tad.

I found this at a local restaurant and had to have more. This vintage was not available at local liquor/wine shops, so I was happy to find it on wine.com It is a perfect summer wine. Not sweet, not exactly dry, and fruity. Lovely nose. Beautiful cherry red color. I probably shouldn't post this, because when I want to re-order it will probably be gone!!!

By far THE BEST Rose we have ever had! I hope this is never ever discontinued. Bought on a whim, now I'm hooked. Would be worth at three times the cost. Gorgeous presentation with the bottle, then the taste is tantalizing!

I am always surprised that rose is looked down upon. As far back as I can remember, rose was a warm season staple even among the most radical red wine drinkers in my family. I cannot remember a rose that I have enjoyed more than this one. It is a bit soft. However, the flavor of strawberry and golden currant come through loud and clear with no heavy alcohol after taste that is common with most Spanish and French wines of this catagory. I hope Summer lasts forever and the Francis Coppola Sofia Rose never runs out.
