This is an exceptional Pinot Noir. Unlike most of the others that hover around $30, this offering has excellent structure and of course tantalizes the palate. What struck me most about the wine is that so many PNs seem watery and lack structure. This Director's Cut is well worth the money as it can stand up to nearly any meal and can most certainly be enjoyed without food.
