Winemaker's Notes

Classic Australian shiraz with blackberry, plum,& spice on both the nose & palate but with soft tannins for a balanced wine which is ideal with a wide range of food but particularly great with red meats & risotto.

Critical Acclaim

"Like the burst of fat, ripe cherries and of sweet tiny blueberries with their memory of tartness, this preserves summer fruits in a lovely, silken mouthful of flavor. The finish is firm and peppery, bringing all that juiciness into line. For roast turkey, particularly the dark meat. A steal at the price."

Always a recommendation when people are looking for a solid aussie shiraz at a low price point. Beautifully balanced and not over-the-top, as some can be. Great food wine.

Learn About Four Sisters

Four Sisters is the creation of Trevor Mast, owner and winemaker at Mount Langi Ghiran, world famous for its Langi Shiraz. One year his four daughters created the wine label design as a birthday surprise. Produced with the help of the eldest daughter Daliah, a graphic designer, the label depicts each one of the sisters - from the left they are Sophie, Anja, Daliah and Ineke....

Learn About Syrah/Shiraz

(seh-RAH/shee-RAHZ) It's a Smokin' Grape Syrah and Shiraz - same grape, different name. It's a popular and adept variety, growing in multiple regions and creating many different styles of wine. The home base of Syrah is the Northern Rhone, where it creates the exclusive wines of Hermitage and Cote Rotie. On the less pricy side, the Rhone makes Syrah-based wines in Crozes...
