Foppiano Petite Sirah Bacigalupi Vineyard 2003

Foppiano Vineyards, situated in Sonoma's County Russian River Valley, has been owned by the Foppiano family since 1896. Having produced Petite Sirah, our hallmark varietal, since the early 1960's, we felt compelled to take advantage of the characteristics and flavor profiles from different soils and appellations producing exceptional Petite Sirah. The Bacigalupi vineyard, on West Side Road along the Russian River, has produced such grapes. A harmony of raspberries and strawberries, hints of white pepper and nuances of oak with velvety smooth finish, make for a very seductive wine.
