The color is brilliant and concentrated purple. A very intense aroma penetrates the senses, the 1999 is toasty and smoky along with explosive notes of red fruit and aromatic herbs, thyme in particular. Tannins are concentrated and sweet, but without the slightest sign of toughness or hardness. A long finish accentuates the experience.

A beautiful color, only a small amount of light may be seen. Nose is excellent! A blend of red fruits & aromatic herbs. Somewhat dryer than I prefer, but excellent all the same.
