We work to retain the pretty strawberry, blueberry and cranberry characteristics of the fruit. If you come by the winery during harvest, you will see our winemakers attired in waders doing "walk-arounds" instead of pumpovers. We think this makes a difference! The wine is aged 9 months in Burgundian barrels. We do not blend our Sangiovese because we want to celebrate the bright Sangiovese fruit without fear of having it overwhelmed by other varietals.
