Flora Springs Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2002
Cabernet Sauvignon
from Napa Valley, California
winemaker's notes:
Aged for almost two years in French, Eastern European and American oak, this wine exhibits all the classic characteristics of a Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley – full, forward, mouthfilling black cherry fruit with cassis and cocoa. The big, ripe, sweet fruit characteristics in the front of the mouth move right into a smooth and lingering finish – a nicely balanced wine with oak undertones.

I chose this wine to serve with grilled rib-eyes for a Valentine's Dinner party. What a great wine. Try seasoning your steak with a Monterey Steak rub and Lea & Perrins Worcester for a couple of hours. It's fabulous. Everyone loved it. If you want a wine that's not going to burst your wallet and one that melts in your mouth. This is it.
Bon Appetite!
