We offer two ways to locate information:
We have added the following products to your shopping cart from a previous visit:
Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.

Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.
Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.
By now the story is well known, nearly 26 years ago, our mother and grandmother Flora Komes was suffering from a blood disorder. True to form, she chose not to follow her doctor's wishes. Reading numerous reports on the benefits of red wine, Flora began a strict regiment of one glass of her very own Flora Springs Merlot each evening. We don't claim to be working miracles here at Flora Springs, but Flora has adhered to her glass a day dose. November 7th Flora will be celebrating her 99th birthday!
Flora's cellar is stocked, so with her permission, we would like to offer you, for the first time, the opportunity to enjoy the 2006 rendition of this sensational Cabernet. The 2006 Flora's Legacy represents the two guiding lights: matriarch Flora Komes and the pursuit of crafting great artisan wine.
Can you imagine taking a splash of each of our single vineyard's and making one tremendous wine? When setting out to create a wine worthy of a seat at Grandma Flora's dining table we looked no further than blending equal parts of the St. Helena Rennie Reserve, Rutherford Hillside Reserve, Out of Sight, Holy Smoke, and Wild Boar. Each of these wines has been showered in accolades yet each is entirely unique, telling a distinct story of place: the rustic nature of Pope Valley, the bright fruit of Rutherford, the richness of Oakville and the soft tannins of St. Helena. Together they work as components to a great blend, building layers of flavor and complexity found only in truly masterful wine.
Enjoyability – Drink now or cellar. Pull the cork between 2011 and 2021 for optimum enjoyment.

The area was settled by a few choice wine families in the 1960's who bet that the wines of the area would grow and flourish. They were right. The Napa wine industry really took off in the 1980's, when vineyard...Read More About Napa Valley
