We are pleased with the character of our 1999 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay Reserve. By adding the fruit from our Carneros property, we have increased the depth of aromas and provided a lovely finish. The 1999 vintage has exceptional balance while maintaining some fullness in the mouth. I do not allow this wine to go through malolactic fermentation because of the considerable richness that is inherent in our fruit.
