Our 2008 Estate Cabernet is a great example of the vintage and our site in the Santa Ynez Valley. The moderate temperatures and lack of rainfall coupled with our low-vigor soils and well-exposed terrain created a wine that is ripe, elegant and quite complex. The nose is bold and generous with cassis, vanilla, dusty spice, cedar, tobacco, orange zest, clove and toffee. Th e palate is lush, juicy and balanced thanks to underlying tannins that add grip to the finish.
Serve with grilled steak or roasted leg of lamb.
