This wine has a dark, inky, blood like color in the glass. Aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, and subtle floral qualities linger on the nose. On the palate, this is a full bodied, dark, rich wine. Wild berries, chocolate, vanilla and licorice all blend together for a complex character and a long finish.

I love good Cabs and Pinot Noirs...somehow this wine reminds me of both--the deep rich body of a cab and the light berry plum taste of a good Pinot that lingers on the palate. Awesome wine for the price.

I consider myself a "casual" wine drinker. I really enjoy good wine but do not know all the lingo etc. This will probably be one of the worst reviews listed here, but I just wanted to chime in on this wine. I received the bottle as part of my wine club membership. The minute I opened it I could smell the complex bouquet (that's all the lingo I know) and when I tasted it, it was amazingly complex yet smooth. Outstanding wine, I am buying more!!
