A core intesity of red fruit flavors and lifted violet aromas remain the signature of Malbec from our Remolinos Vineyard. This is exquisitely balanced by freshness of acidity and an elegant integration of French oak which adds complexity to the rich mid palate of this vintage.

The Wine...Finco Decero Remolinos Vineyard 2010...The scene...Dinner at home with some grilling going on. Had a grilled rack of pork to go with this malbec that we ordered on the thinking the wife enjoyed a bottle of malbec that we picked up at Jewel food store a few weeks back. Sorry Wine.com but not all of my wines are brought online. Wow, try saying that three time real fast...and getting back to the wine. Deep smelling fruits right away. Had a smooth taste with very little aftertaste of pepper. I like and wife say it okay...Our first malbec of the year and I guess with spring in the air our next bottle will be a chardonnay.
