Pale gold with green nuances. Elegant aromas of apple, banana and pineapple. Medium-bodied, with a lingering aftertaste of citrus and minerals.

Delicious with seafood, pasta, risotto, sushi and sashimi.

My wife and I just returned from southern Italy ,where we toured the modern winery of Feudi di San Gregorio. The Falanghina is a great everyday white wine. For special occasions we drink their Greco di Tufo. Both wines will go great with today's Thanksgiving turkey. Their website is www.feudi.it

Consistently good throughout the vintages I've tasted, this falanghina is a prime example of 'other whites' from Italy--especially Southern Italy which tends to not get the attention it deserves for good, low-cost wines.
