Scents of black cherry, raspberry, cinnamon and all spice combine with graham cracker, vanilla and sandalwood on the nose. Layers of black cherry, red currant and cranberry are enhanced by a touch of earth and minerals that are rounded out by vanilla and baking spices for a long lingering finish on the palate.
Pairs exceptionally with Roasted Duck, Fillet Mignon or Grilled Portobello Mushrooms.
"What a gorgeous nose of blackberries and blueberries. Fresh and pretty. Full-bodied, with well-integrated tannins and ripe fruit with coffee and lightly toasted oak undertones."

"The 2009 Pinot Noir Ashley's is a big super-ripe wine endowed with dark fruit, cola, sweet spices, vanilla and sweet French oak, all of which come together nicely. Ashely's is made in a decidedly forward, flashy style and the oak (50% new barrels) is also a bit much for the wine’s structure. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2021."
