Ferrari-Carano Siena 2002
Sangiovese
from Sonoma County, California
winemaker's notes:
Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon are the classic grapes found in the Italian "super-Tuscan" red wine blend. They take on a new dimension when grown in Sonoma County's earthy burnt orange soils. SIENNA combines bright raspberry, cherry flavors with smooth tannins and a rich finish for a red wine taste treat that matches so many foods.
Food Pairing
This wine goes well with hearty chicken dishes, duck, lamb, and braised pork. It also pairs with root vegetables, such as carrots, onions, celery, and rutabaga.

A Customer - Chicago, IL
This is one of the best wines I've ever tasted! A perfect blend of flavors and the mst flavorful grapes. After each sip you can't help but look forward to licking your lips and taking in a deep nasal breath to ensure that you savor every bit of flavor. Great wine, my absolute favorite!
