The Farallon North Coast and Central Coast Chardonnays have similar winemaking styles. Each are made to showcase oak barrel aging and the cool climates where they are grown. Both are medium bodied with forward fruit aromas, rich and flavorful. The North Coast Chardonnay shows pear and peach, with melon and ripe apple flavors. The Central Coast Chardonnay offers forward tropical, citrus and pineapple notes. They both finish soft and creamy with a nice oaky, buttery presence. Oak aging and malolactic fermentation contribute to the softness and drink ability of these wines.
