Made from 100% Sangiovese grown in volcanic soils that are rich in minerals. The grapes were harvested during the end of September and the first 10 days of October. Maturation occurred in barriques for 12 months and then in large oak barrels for 1 year followed by an additional 6 months in bottle. Fanti's Brunello is red ruby in color with violet shades and garnet-red tones. The taste is sweet and silky with very well balanced tannins and fruity and spicy sensations.
