Hearty and yet smooth. Excellent choice at this price. Almost got that 5th star.

Ruby red color and well balanced. I have not found a better wine at this price. Would still be worth it at twice the price.

I happened across this wine by scanning the ratings labels at the liquor store one day. A 90 pointer for this price is hard to find. It's absolutely delicious. It's light, yet full-bodied. Dry, but with a hint of sweetness. Not at all bitter. It's perfect for bold meat dishes, but light enough for pizza. It's become a staple in my home. You can't pass up this deal.

After reading the reviews about this wine, and then talking to the owner of a local wine shop I decided to order a case of this wine. I just opened the first bottle tonight and what a pleasant surprise. It's taste even surpassed my expectations. A great wine to have around for a house wine.
