Full of plum, raspberry, and dark chocolate scents, along with a dense, deep, and velvety palate, it is full and round, with the super-polished tannins which make it one of Italy's touchstone Merlot bottlings. Drink: 2005-2018."

Intense ruby red in color with deliciously fruity and elegant aromas. Full bodied with fine grained tannins. Chocolate notes on the finish. A truly interesting wine. Recommended with hearty fare such as roasted red meats, particularly lamb.

This wine is excellent. Very full bodied for a Merlot. Great on the front and back end. Rich and delicious, but smooth at the same time.
