The wine was aged nearly two years in barrel, during which time it underwent natural, spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Falling naturally clear during this extended aging process, it was bottled without filtration or fining. The combination of high fruit quality, coupled with Eyrie's gentle, "hands off" approach in the winery, is reflected in this outstanding wine. Richly scented, it shows a silky texture and resonant flavor structure.
