The blend's predominant component of fruit from the Central Coast was harvested in excellent condition. To provide more softness and highlight the Central Coast fruit character, we blended a smooth, lush-tannin lot from the Monterey County. All fermentation was completed in stainless steel tanks. The lot from Monterey was aged for 6 months in American Oak.
A delicious and velvety wine, soft and dry with rich flavors of black cherries, dark chocolate and raspberry. Delightful with hearty meat dishes, hamburgers, pasta, pizza and cheeses.
This is the first time I tasted this wine and it's fruity yet mellow. There is not one flavor that over powers the other. This is a nice wine to sip on after a day's work.
