winemaker's notes:
The blend's predominant component of fruit from the Central Coast was harvested in excellent condition. To provide more softness and highlight the Central Coast fruit character, we blended a smooth, lush-tannin lot from the Monterey County. All fermentation was completed in stainless steel tanks. The lot from Monterey was aged for 6 months in American Oak.
Tasting Notes:
A delicious and velvety wine, soft and dry with rich flavors of black cherries, dark chocolate and raspberry. Delightful with hearty meat dishes, hamburgers, pasta, pizza and cheeses.
I tasted the Esser Cab at a wine class at Copia. Was very delighted with the wine. Drinkable now. Good fruit and spice. Happy to see that Wine.com is carring this label.
