Description
Red wines, especially younger ones, need to be in contact with oxygen in order to develop their optimum bouquet. By pouring a wine into a big bellied decanter an hour or two before it is drunk, it allows maximum contact area between the wine and oxygen, allowing the wine to develop, or in essence, age. Eisch has developed the Bonaparte 1.5 liter decanter with a neck cut at an angle in order to allow the wine to be poured into the glass even more smoothly.
