A blend of 87% Pinot Noir and 13% other Rhone varietals.
Pleasant wafts of nutmeg and spice complement the supple, silky core of black cherry and
plum in our 2007 Pinot Noir. Ripe fruit develops across the finish, with silky tannins gently
holding the nuanced oak through the lingering finish. With juicy fruit and well-balanced
acidity, this Pinot Noir offers effortless enjoyment with a variety of dishes such as pasta tossed
with wild mushrooms, roasted chicken or stuffed pork tenderloin.
Following harvest, the grapes for the Pinot Noir were gently destemmed and cold soaked to
build complexity and richness. A long, cool fermentation in stainless steel focused the intrinsic
brightness and fresh plum and cherry flavors. The resulting wine has well-integrated flavors
and vibrant fruit character.
