Duckhorn Napa Cabernet Sauvignon 1996

This is a powerful wine chock full of a myriad of flavors that keep developing. From herbaceous and spicy to currant and blueberry, these are the initial aromas which invite closer inspection. Black tea, bittersweet chocolate, bell pepper, black olive and herbs complete the bouquet. The wine has an enticing mouthfeel features supple, round tannins. Finally, a silky finish lingers with spicy hints of white pepper. All is packaged in subtle oak as a rounded and balanced wine. Will be memorable for years.
