Winemaker's Notes

Brilliant deep dark red. Layered red and black fruits: cherry, black raspberry then dried herb, earth, anise, an edge of iron. Very serious concentrated wine – packed with mineral extract. Strong soil component, broad dense black fruits. Texture comes out with air, increasingly supple, but then explosive finish. Quite savory – good acid backbone. Drink between 2014 and 2024.

Critical Acclaim

"The 2010 Pinot Noir Finn is the most delicate and nuanced of these 2010s. A wine of total class and elegance, the 2010 impresses for its definition and crystalline purity. Small red berries, flowers, mint and spices speak with a Chambolle-like finesse in the 2010. Sweet, silky tannins leave a fabulous final impression. A model of femininity, grace and elegance, the 2010 should drink beautifully for another decade-plus."
95 Points

"Bright ruby. Black raspberry, cola, Asian spices and vanilla on the heady, exotically perfumed nose. Offers an array of palate-staining red and dark berry preserve flavors and picks up a sexy floral nuance with air. Juicy and penetrating, with superb finishing energy, clarity and spicy persistence."
