The tannins are smooth and polished framing the wonderful structure and balance in the wine. critical acclaim:
"Dry Creek's Mariner bottling is a wine that, in good vintages, rises to greatness. The 2008 does just that. It impresses for its dryness, richness, classic structure and intricate flavors of blackberries, black currants and herbs."

Wine Enthusiast
"Shows the benefit of bottle age, with a mature edge to the gravelly texture, offering dried berry, currant, cedar and tobacco notes. Maintains its focus and gains depth and nuance on the finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2024."
