"Vinified from purchased fruit harvested largely in Bernkastel, Graach and Wehlen, Loosen's 2005 Riesling "Dr. L." smells sweetly of white peach and honeysuckle, combines subtle creaminess of texture with juicy peach, lime, and tangerine, and lays out a satisfyingly rich yet delicate and invigorating finish in which noticeable sweetness, nevertheless, does not become overbearing. Even more so than in some other recent years, this offers terrific value."

Dr. L Riesling is produced by the Loosen Bros from the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer in the great German wine tradition. Dr. L is a superb Riesling. It strikes a nice "middle-of-the-road" balance between sweet and tart. Dr. L is no sweeter than an apple. The Doctor opens with aromas of apples, melon and slate, achieving superb balance between ripe fruit flavors and a steely, crisp structure.

This is the first wine that I WILL DRINK. My son had several of the riesling and had me try it. I've been buying it since. I would like to find out where all I could get it. Please let me know. I'm in the ft.worth area.
