too green for me - 5/13/2008
I would not buy this wine again
While the wine had plenty of fruit and the price was under $10, I do not care for wines' that have a "vine" taste to it. A sense of a young vine taste to it. I felt the rating was too high.

  Decent Malbec - 2/7/2008
I would not buy this wine again
Drinkable but did not live up to its high rating. Certainly affordable. A little above average but nowhere near outstanding.

  Rodolfo Malbec - 1/30/2008
I would buy this wine again
Great wine value. Drank asome 24 hours after and it bloomed nicely. The depth of Malbecs is one of the reasons I have begun stockpiling.

  My first Malbec - 12/24/2007
I would not buy this wine again
My first Malbec, so I'll need to try others to make a fair assessment. It was good. I tend to like bigger reds. This was not big, but it was a nice drinking wine.

  Don Rodolfo Malbec 2005 - 12/22/2007
I would buy this wine again
This wine combines excellent varietal character, very complex flavors, full fruit, soft tannins and both immediate and longer term drinkability. The wine presents exceptional quality and value.

Great Meat Table Wine - 12/5/2007
I would buy this wine again
This is a very good wine with most red meats. Nothing special, but there is not much more you can expect from the price.

Kosher wine
Kosher
A Kosher wine begins like every other - as grapes on a vine. Once they reach the winery for crushing, the wine is under strict rabbinal supervision.
Screw Cap wine
Screw Cap
Many studies report and winemakers agree that screw caps protect wine better and preserve its flavor more effectively than cork. More importantly, screw caps eliminate cork taint caused by TCA, a compound which develops in a small percentage of corks and ruins the taste of wine.
Green wine
Green Wines
Wines that use sustainable, organic and/or biodynamic practices in the vineyard and/or winemaking process. We rely on a number of U.S. and International certifications to qualify wines "green."

These wines will improve from additional bottle age, when properly stored, and may show the greatest potential to increase in value.

Boutique Wines
These wines are made in limited quantities and are typically produced from single vineyard sources or made by small, artisanal wineries. While the winery may produce larger quantities, we limit wines with this designation to a 1,000 case production.
