Our Carignan Vieilles Vignes is truly a Mediterranean wine. This long forgotten Languedoc grape variety refinds its unique character in this limited production cuvée. Its bouquet is intense and develops perfumes of small red fruit, black olives and wild Mediterranean herbs (thyme, juniper, rosemary).. Whilst being round and supple, the palate makes for a wine of immediate pleasure with perfectly melted tannins and an impressive aromatic intensity. A wine that will blossom for a good five years.

This wine has a wonderful mouthfeel much like a high quality California cabernet. However, it has a perfume on the nose and a terroir on the tongue that makes this a very unique wine. An excellent value. If you want to try something different but with quality, this is a great starter.
