Fruity & Smooth

Light to medium bodied wines with lots of juicy fruit, typically medium acid and medium oak.

Rich & Creamy

Full bodied wines that have typically undergone malo-lactic fermentation and/or spent time in oak.

Winemaker's Notes

A blend of 50% Colombard, 25% Gros Manseng, and 25% Uni Blanc. The Gros Manseng adds richness to the other lighter varietals. A fresh, racy and elegant white blend with aromas of tropical fruit and a hint of lemon. On the palate, it delivers intense fruit flavors of banana and white peaches with great acidity that adds a nice tartness to the rich fruit. A delightful white Bordeaux for summertime enjoyment. Perfect for an aperitif or alongside your main course.

Great for an outdoor cookout, we drank it with shrimp kabobs. Light and crisp and citrusy. An uncomplicated wine, it's nice quality for the price, and definitely a crowd-pleaser - those who didn't drink a lot of wine liked it. I'm going to order more.

Domaine de Joy was started by a Swiss family who fell in love with the Armagnac countryside, located in the Gascogne region of France. The estate also makes a fine selection of Bas-Armagnac liqueurs. Both Cotes de Gascogne and Bas-Armagnac have been awarded at many tastings and represent pleasure and the love of good living-a reflection of the Gascogne and its inhabitants.

Learn About Bordeaux White Blends

Bordeaux White Blend
There's white wine in Bordeaux, too! Typically made from Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and bits of Muscadelle, white Bordeaux can be a fully dry table wine or, as in Sauternes, a deliciously sweet dessert wine. In other areas of the world, a Bordeaux blend consists primarily of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, either of which may be the predominant variety. Bordeaux blends can vary in style, but most have good acidity and often a mineral overtone.
