Winemaker's Notes

Our classic Pinot Noir made to show off the superb qualities of our organic vineyard, is rich with fruit tones of black cherry, raspberry and black current overlaid with notes of chocolate, toast, clove and exotic spices. Luscious flavors end in a very long and silky finish.

Critical Acclaim

"Soft, shimmering rose hue. Elegant bouquet of pine, mint and pretty, vanillin-laced oak. Soft and creamy on entry with a wonderful blend of sweet / tart cherry, briar and perfectly accented acids. Tart on a cedar-influenced close with light clove and delicately integrated tannins that showcase finesse and balance. "
93 Points

"This bottling has been getting steadily richer and better over the years and has now reached the point where it’s an authentic Carneros beauty. The ’06 is a Pinot Noir to drink now, to savor its raspberry and cherry freshness, crispness and silky texture."
91 Points

"Well-proportioned, with full-bodied plum, wild berry, spice and mineral notes that are structured, complex and long on the finish. Drink now through 2014. 6,500 cases made. "
