Chablis Saint Martin has a beautiful, transparent color of golden green. To the nose, subtle and creamy. To the palette, a suggestion of butter with classical mineral notes and hints of hazelnut and gunpowder. Long and intense in the mouth and a supple finish.
"Pale, bright yellow. Pure if slightly reduced aromas of lemon and flint. Riper than the village wine, which I rated 87 on this occasion, with good density and sweetness to its yellow fruit and mineral flavors. Finishes nicely fresh and long, with a suggestion of apricot. Perhaps just a tad warm but showing well today."
