winemaker's notes:
The grapes for this wine come from vineyards in the Russian River watershed of Mendocino County.
The moderating influence of the river allows the vineyards to produce grapes that have ripe,
mature varietal characteristics while retaining crisp acidity. The wine was primarily fermented
in stainless steel, to preserve fresh fruit flavors. A portion was fermented in small oak barrels,
contributing a vanilla complexity to the finished wine.
Divas Uncorked is ten "sisters who sip." Their Chardonnay, bottled "uncorked" – with an au courant screwcap, is bright and zesty. It's an ideal match for sauteed or lightly grilled seafood, vegetables prepared al dente, chicken dishes, and fresh-spicy Thai cuisine.
